Receptions
& Filming
The
public areas on the first floor of our building are available
to rent for a reception or special event that fall within
the policies of the Archdiocese of Toronto and the Newman
Centre*. The Newman Centre is also open for filming/photo
shoots, Monday through Friday on the first floor of the building.

of the rooms available for filming/rental:
If
you are interested in using the public rooms of either the Newman
Centre residence or the Newman Centre Chapel for filming, please
contact Fr. Patrick O'Dea, the Executive Director and Pastor
of the Centre. All film scripts must first be approved by the
Archdiocese of Toronto and Fr. O'Dea to ensure that the Catholic
image and values of the Newman Centre are not compromised.
Winter
2003: Colleen, Peter and Abril with the cast of Bugs,
including Antonio Sabato Jr., and Angie Everheart,
an upcoming action flik to be aired on the Sci-Fi U.S. cable
network
Roma
Downey, actress and star of Touched By An Angel.
meets Fr. Pat during the filming of her Christmas film,
Sons of Mistletoe at The Newman Centre in summer
2001. The Newman Centre rooms were used for 5 days of filming.
