University
of Toronto Food & Clothing Bank
The Newman
Centre provides drop-boxes for food and clothing inside
of the vestibule of the chapel. Volunteers assist in
the collection, sorting, and distribution of the collected
items.
Commitment:
Distribution once a week on Fridays for 2 hours between
10:00 am - 3:00 pm.

For
over a decade students have been helping other students
deal with the increased cost of living in the City.
The Food Bank provides 2-3 days worth of food weekly
to students in need. Clothing is accessed at the same
location and can be taken in unlimited quantities. The
University Food and Clothing Bank is located in the
basement (Room 50) of Wetmore Hall, New College, University
of Toronto. Wetmore Hall is located at 21 Classic Avenue
(3 blocks north of College Street, east of Spadina).
