Hi everyone! I'm Peggy Li and I'm a second year Masters student studying Industrial Engineering. I'm originally from Hong Kong, but I've lived in Toronto with my family for most of my life. I love to read, cook, swim, play ultimate frisbee and get into long chats with friends over coffee! I also love to travel (I was in Peru this summer and Thailand last summer) to meet and learn from people of different cultures; my hope is to intern abroad after graduation doing development work. I've been coming to Newman for the last two years and I'm really excited about being a student campus minister this year at this wonderful community. I think it'll be an amazing experience and I'll work to give my all this year. I'll be this year's student campus minister representative for Pastoral Advisory Council and I hope to get more involved with the Lay Pastoral Visitor to Sick outreach ministry. I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know many more of you – so please feel free to come and chat! |
