The Science and Faith Reflection Group is an ongoing project of the Newman Centre, intended to provide an environment in which members of our community at the University of Toronto can meet to discuss issues raised by the advances of modern science. In particular, we hope to develop an atmosphere which encourages students to share their understanding of the ways in which our faith illuminates the discoveries of modern science. We will also examine the manner in which our faith guides us to make use of the tools of modern science. Finally, we will discuss the scientist's experience of God, present and alive in this world and revealed in a special way through the projects of modern science.
